Knife Attack Case: Why YS Jagan Filed Second Affidavit?

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has filed an additional Affidavit before the High Court in Hyderabad, stating that the knife attack on him would fall under the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against Safety of Civil Aviation Act, 1982.

YSR Congress party President and Andhra Pradesh’ main opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has recently filed an additional affidavit before the High Court in Hyderabad, stating that the knife attack on him at airport in Visakhapatnam on 25th of October would fall under the Suppression of Unlawful Acts against Safety of Civil Aviation Act, 1982.

In the latest affidavit, Reddy has asked the centre through the court to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the knife attack incident.

He also mentioned that the concerned authorities of Andhra Pradesh government have failed in following their duties and the requirements of the law.

Jagan Mohan Reddy while boarding a flight to Hyderabad to attend Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court was attacked with a Knife Blade in the VIP Lounge of the Airport on 25 Oct 2018. Reddy sustained injury on Shoulder.
