If latest reports are anything to go by, choreographer turned actor turned director Raghava Lawrence will replace Superstar Rajinikanth in the sequel of ‘Chandramukhi’.
Veteran director P Vasu had created sensation with Rajinikanth starrer ‘Chandramukhi’ a decade ago. After that he has been struggling to score an equal hit if not bigger. After a spade of flops, he has recently tasted a big hit with Kannada Film ‘Shiva Linga’ starring Shivraj Kumar and Vedika.
Vasu is now making plans to remake ‘Shiva Linga’ in Tamil as ‘Chandramukhi 2’. He has already arranged a special screening for Rajinikanth, who was not very much impressed with it. So, Vasu has reportedly approached Lawrence to replace Rajinikanth.
Lawrence has already made a big name out of him with the successful horror film series of ‘Muni’. His inclusion will definitely boost the range of ‘Chandramukhi’ sequel.
Top actress Anushka has also been approached to play leading lady, it is heard. We must wait for an official confirmation though.
