Legendary Actor not Impressed with Liquor Ban in Bihar

Nitish Kumar government in Bihar has imposed a total ban on alcohol. The decision was welcomed by people across state but one of the popular Bollywood actor expressed his dissatisfaction.

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor has condemned the ban on liquor by the Nitish Kumar government and predicted that it will result in loss of excise revenue to the govt. He added that he would to prefer to skip Travelling to Bihar.

Rishi Kapoor took to Twitter and Shared his feelings by tweeting, “Bihar you will encourage bootlegging and illicit liquor. Prohibition has failed Worldwide. Wake up! You will also lose Rs.3000 cr revenue loss. 10 years imprisonment for alcohol – Five years for illegal possession of arms? Wah Nitish! Me no coming to Bihar! How myopic can you get in 2016?” he tweeted.

“Practising drinking since ‘Coolie’ days. But smoking and drinking is hazardous. People please abstain from it,” tweeted Rishi adding an image from Coolie Movie.

It may be noted that Bihar is the fourth state in India to impose a complete ban after Gujarat, Manipur and Nagaland.
