Reputed politician Jaya Prakash Narayana had established Lok Satta Party in 2006 with the intention of bringing a Change in the political system. However, the cash-strapped party failed to make its mark despite contending twice in Assembly elections.
While Lok Satta managed to get 2% votes in 2009 elections and win only a single seat, in the 2014 general election, the party totally got decimated with JP himself losing his seat.
After being silent for a long time, now, it is said that the former bureaucrat is staging a comeback to public arena with a TV show. Reportedly JP will be hosting this TV show, whose main focus will be the future of newly formed Andhra Pradesh state.
JP will discuss about what should the State Government should do for the Best result and how the center must help the state after the bifurcation. This show will be telecasted in HMTV and it will begin in the third week of this month with its first episode happening in Hyderabad.
