Veteran director Mani Ratnam has finally found the actress to play lead role in his upcoming Film.
Hot actress Aditi Rao Hydari, who has acted in a handful of Hindi films like Boss, Yeh Saali Zindagi, Wazir, Delhi 6 etc. has been roped in to play the lead heroine role in the new film starring Karthi in lead role.
Mani Ratnam has found an immediate replacement after Sai Pallavi, the Malayalam actress who became popular as ‘Malar’ of ‘Premam’, walked out of the film. A source close to Mani Ratnam has confirmed that Aditi will romance Karthi in the new film.
Incidentally, Aditi was in Chennai recently for a Fashion show and she is heard to have met Mani Ratnam to sign the film. Despite Aditi has her roots in Hyderabad, she is yet to act in a Telugu film.
As expected, AR Rahman will compose the soundtrack of this untitled film.
