Acclaimed director Gautham Menon was supposed to make a Film with Tamil star hero Vijay. Titled ‘Yaan’, the film was supposed to go floors long back but the project was called off due to some differences between the director and the actor.
The director then approached Tollywood Superstar Mahesh Babu and got his nod. Ashwini Dutt was attached to this project for long but now successful producer Dil Raju has come on board to produce this film.
The shoot of this film will commence only in 2017, by the time which the actor and director will be completing their commitments.
Mahesh Babu is making crucial steps to expand his Market to Kollywood. His latest release ‘Srimanthudu’ was dubbed and released in Tamil. His new film Brahmotsavam is also is a Tamil Telugu bilingual.
Next, he will start working on AR Murugadoss’s film, a Tamil Telugu bilingual. By the time Gautham Menon’s project goes on floors, Mahesh would have formed a sizeable market in Kollywood and this film will get boost from that aspect.
Meanwhile, Gautham Menon is busy completing Sahasame Swasaga Saagipo with Naga Chaitanya. Next, he will direct a love story with Ram Charan.
