The latest choices of Mahesh Babu indicate that he has been consciously choosing Movies to emerge as the Superstar of Southern Cinema.
Mahesh Babu already commands humongous fan base in the Telugu states, Karnataka and overseas. Now, he has shifted his focus towards Tamil and Malayalam Market.
Mahesh Babu is making sure all his recent movies have a release in Kerala. Though he has not established himself in Kerala yet, he just needs one big movie.
With ‘Srimanthudu’, Mahesh entered into Tamil land and planned for a simultaneous release. Although the Koratala Siva directorial didn’t perform as per expectations in Tamil Nadu, Mahesh has planned ‘Brahmotsavam’ in Tamil.
Now, Mahesh Babu’s next two Films will be made as Telugu-Tamil bilinguals. They will be directed by star Tamil directors AR Murugadoss and Gautam Menon. Mahesh is also holding talks with ‘Raja Rani’ fame Atlee for another bilingual. The reputation of these directors will definitely help Mahesh conquer the Tamil market.
With Tamil market under his belt, creating a market in Malayalam circuit won’t be a tough task as all the successful Tamil films do well in Kerala.
