Superstar Mahesh Babu has become an inspiration for many by adopting two villages in the two Telugu states, following the message of his latest Film ‘Srimanthudu’. Following his footsteps, now his sister, wife of Guntur MP Galla Jaydev, Galla Padmavathi has come forward and adopted a backward village, Kancherla Palem in Tenali Mandal, Guntur district.
As soon as Padmavati thought of adopting a village, she informed it to her husband Jaydev. After consulting with the authorities, he suggested the name of Kancherla Palem. She then applied online to adopt this village and the Village Development Committee has given green signal for it.
Who would say no when a rich person with a big heart comes forward to adopt a poor village? The villagers of Kancherla Palem have applauded Padamavati. It is already known that actor Prakash raj has also adopted a backward village in Mahabubnagar district, Telangana.
It would be great if more Celebrities come forward to adopt villages and make the villages of India a better place to live so that nobody gets forced to migrate to cities.
