Mani Ratnam has in the past made biopics of Dhirubhai Ambani and portrayed the relation between MGR and Karunanidhi on silver screen.
However, when he was asked if he is making a film on the life of super star, Mani Ratnam said that it would be very difficult to find an actor to reprise the role of Rajini and also pull off the film convincingly. Mani Ratnam added that Audiences would not accept any other as Superstar.
