Nepal was on Saturday struck by the worst earthquake (7.9-magnitude) in 80 years, leaving almost 3,500 people dead in flattered houses and buildings.
According to latest reports, another 34 were killed in India, six in Tibet and two in Bangladesh. Two Chinese citizens died at the Nepal-China border.
According to the Home Ministry, the loss of life is very nearly sure to rise.
In Nepal, three important cities;Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Patan were badly hit, while in India, the area of north- Bihar including Monghyer, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur were practically leveled.
