On the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, Prime Minister of India Mr.Narendra Modi launched ‘Swacch Bharat (Clean India) campaign.
In this campaign, millions of employees, people from non-government organisations, politicians and large number of citizens are being part to ensure clean India.
While addressing the campaign, Mr. Narendra Modi said that the campaign has been launched with an intend to make India “clean” by October 2, 2019, Mahatma Gandhi’s 150th birth anniversary Celebration.
He also said, “we need to give Mahatma Gandhi something on his 150th anniversary Celebration in 2019 and we need to cooperate to clean India now.”
