Indian mothers have many concerns. They are worried about the well-being, health, performance and education of their Children.
Games like PUBG and Fortnite are highly sought after by teenagers and students. As a matter of fact, PUBG is immensely addictive.
Madhumita Sengupta, mother of a kid who’s in Class 9, has complained to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi about her son’s addiction to mobile games. “My son used to be brilliant at studies. Of late, he’s addicted to online games. I explained the demerits of online games. Nothing seems to work”, she said.
PM Modi replied, “Ye PUBG wala hai kya? Ya Fortnite?” His light-hearted reply drew applause and cheers from the Audience at Pariksha Pe Charcha show.

PUBG has been banned in many educational institutions like Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT). No doubt, addiction to games is troubling not only Indian mothers but also educational institutions.
