PM Narendra Modi Tuesday saluted the fearless policemen who sacrificed their lives, saying their valor and devotion can never be depicted in words.
PM Modi said in a tweet, On Police Commemoration Day we salute all the brave martys who sacrificed their lives, putting service above themselves.
Prior in the day, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh paid his regards to the police who have sacrificed their lives for the country at the police commemoration ground in Chanakyapuri.
Since 1961, nearly 32,557 police work force have sacrificed their lives for security of the country and service to the general public.
