N Srinivasan in Dethroned as ICC Chairman

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) happened today at Mumbai and few key decisions were taken.

Primarily, N. Srinivasan has been removed from the post of chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC). The BCCI is now going to recommend the change to ICC.

The current BCCI President Shashank Manohar will complete tenure of Srinivasan, who was elected for a two-year term. Shashank Manohar will head the Executive Committee of ICC till June 2016.

Apart from this, another good news is there for the people of Andhra Pradesh. The BCCI has accorded Test status to the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam.

The BCCI also accorded Test status to other cricket grounds in Ranchi, Indore, Pune and Rajkot.

BCCI decided that Rajeev Shukla will continue as the chairman of IPL. BCCI also appointed formed Indian Team Captain Sourav Ganguly as the Chairman of the Technical committee of BCCI.
