The Celebrity Cricket tournament, Natchathira Cricket, organized by Nadigar Sangam also known as the South Indian Film Artistes Association (SIFAA) to raise money for the construction of its new building, was held on April 17 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
As many as 8 teams led by star heroes participated in the event for the trophy which was won by Chennai Singams led by Suriya.
Stars from all other southern film industries attended the event. Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, Venkatesh, Shivaraj Kumar, Sudeep, Nivin Pauly and many others from neighboring states graced the event with Kollywood celebs in full attendance.
Superstar Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan have inaugurated the event and in the end Rajini has appealed to all the actors to stay united despite hailing from different industries.
