Nannaku Prematho Exhibitors Receive Threats

The war between Nandamuri Balakrishna and NTR Jr is getting murky with ‘Dictator’ and ‘Nannaku Prematho’ set to clash at the Box Office for the Sankranthi season.

With Nannaku Preamtho and Dictator slated to release on 13th and 14th of this month, with just 1 day gap, the political drama has begun for dominance. As per reports, TDP leaders in Krishna, Guntur, Prakasam and Nellore areas are heard to putting pressure on Exhibitors of ‘Nannaku Prematho’ to allot their theatres for the screening of ‘Dictator’ instead.

In Ceeded, which is the strong area for NTR, ‘Dictator’ managed to get around 40 screens more than ‘Nannaku Prematho’ but TDP leaders are still heard to be lobbying to grab the screens of ‘Nannaku Prematho’. It is heard that TDP leaders have issued an ultimatum to few theatre owners to replace Nannaku Prematho with Dictator.

These developments are worrying Exhibitors and fans of NTR. Exhibitors are in two minds to bow to the threats given demand for Nannaku Prematho is much bigger than Dictator’s.

In Nizam & Godavari districts, ‘Nannaku Prematho’ has clear upper hand over ‘Dictator’ though.
