Film stars, industrialists, politicians and NRIs adopting villages in the Telugu states is the latest trend and the aftermath of Mahesh Babu’s ‘Srimanthudu’. The son of AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the newly appointed General Secretary of the Central Committee of TDP, Nara Lokesh has now become ‘Srimanthudu’ by joining the adopting brigade.
Lokesh visited his native village Nimmakuru and said that he and his mother would adopt the village and would soon start the developmental activities. He also promised that he will visit Nimmakuru at least once in a month.
Lokesh added that he will soon talk to the local authorities to survey the requirements of the villagers so that he could initiate necessary measures to make Nimmakuru, a smart village.
Political Analysts say that due to the effect of KTR actively participating in adoption process, Lokesh too has joined the race as he doesn’t want to fall behind KTR in any aspect.
