Surya Bose, the eldest son of Amiya Nath Bose and grand nephew of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday at the Hotel Adlon in Berlin, amid the controversy over snooping on close relatives of Netaji.

According to reports, Surya Bose raised the issue of declassification of every single mystery record related to the freedom fighter.

As indicated by the latest developments, Surya Bose urged the PM to declassify every single mystery document on the freedom fighter against the backdrop of the controversy that successive Congress governments had kept an eye on Bose’s family for two decades.

He additionally said that the vast majority of his relatives does not accept that Bose had died in a plane crash in Taipei in 1945.

As understood media reports, Modi has guaranteed Surya Bose and the Bose family that he would ensure that legitimate investigation of documents related to Netaji is done.
