Just few days after all the Telugu people around the world had witnessed the historic event of the foundation ceremony of Andhra Pradesh’s new capital Amaravati, now we hear that a Film is being planned about the city.
This film titled ‘Amaravati’, will capture the historic legacy of the city on celluloid, it is said. Popular producer Anil Sunkara, who produced Mahesh Babu’s Dookudu, Aagadu, Nenokkadine and Allari Naresh’s James Bond, Aha Na Pellanta etc, is producing this film.
The cast and crew members of the film have not yet been revealed but the logo of the title is released by the team.
Few say that the makers are trying to cash in on the sentiments of people, who are looking at Amaravati as not just mere a capital, but the dream of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
Others say that it is an attempt to showcase to the word what Amaravati has gone through years to sustain and get the opportunity to become capital city now.
