Young Rebel star Prabhas has garnered nationwide attention after his lead role in historic hit Film ‘Baahubali’. The film was a huge hit in Tamil, Hindi and Malayalam apart from Telugu.
As per reports, to cash in on Prabhas’s craze, few Tamil producers have decided to dub his films in Tamil. They chose action packed dud film ‘Rebel’ and decided to release it in Tamil as ‘Veerabali’.
Although the title is in sync with ‘Baahubali’, the content is nowhere close to the epic film. Even the ardent fans of Prabhas had not liked ‘Rebel’ so it would be a suicide mission for Prabhas in Tamil Nadu.
However, makers are confident of the success of the film as the film was directed by Raghava Lawrence, a well known name in Tamil Nadu. The film also has heavy action episodes, which will be liked by Tamil Tambis.
We have to see if this film elevates the image of Prabhas or kills the image created by ‘Baahubali’?
