On March 12, OYO decided to invest Rs 1400 crore ($200 million) in India as well as South Asia over the business by 2019 to grow its Infrastructure, strengthen Technology and capacity.

At present, the company has been dominant over 259 cities in India with 8,700 hotels and homes that up to 1,73,000 rooms. OYO will also make a new app that will have an SOS button for emergency assistance, and people can contact OYO safety teams and local law enforcement authorities.
The company had narrowed losses as a percentage of values that was 44.5 percent in 2016-17 to 10 percent in2018-19. The company focuses on expanding in South East Asia and the Middle East besides India and China.
