Pakistan violates ceasefire in J&K, two dead

On Saturday evening, a 17-year-old girl and a soldier were killed in cease fire violations from across the border in Kashmir.

As per an armed force representative, Pakistan troops fired at forward Indian posts along Line of Control (Loc) in Uri’s Kamalkot area which brought about the demise of the young girl.

“Unprovoked firing from Pakistani troops brought about the demise of a young girl and a jawan in Kashmir’s Uri Sector in North Kashmir,” the armed force said.

More than 20,000 residents of 30 villages along the international border in Jammu area have been moved to more secure areas
