Firmly opposing forcible Land Acquisition Act in Andhra Pradesh capital region, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Sunday requested the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) government to retreat the Land Acquisition notification that creates uncertainties in the minds of Farmers.
Addressing a pubic meeting in Penumaka in Guntur district, Pawan urged the State Government to respond to the situation and solve the issue amicably by taking farmers concerns into account and convincing them with proper written assurances.
After receiving several applications and requests from farmers across the region, Pawan decided to visit a few villages in the district where the government is trying to acquire fertile lands for building the capital for AP and Traveled to the area on Sunday to meet up with a number of farmers and heard all of them.
He asked the government to give appropriate protection to farmers in the form of legally written documentation. He in addition hit back at the ministers for criticizing him for opposing land acquisition act and and pointed out that he backed the party during the elections for the Best interests of the people.
