YSR Congress party led Andhra Pradesh government on 18th November given a full-page advertisement to a leading Telugu newspaper saying the sand in the State is available.

The government in the advertisement has mentioned 175 stock points along with the prescribed sand prices. Each Assembly constituency gets one stock point with price ranging from Rs 410 to 1,590 per tonne.

Pawan Kalyan gave 2-week deadline to govt to resolve sand crisis

JanaSena party chief Pawan Kalyan while addressing ‘Long March’ held on 3rd November in Visakhapatnam had set 2-week deadline for AP chief minister YS Jagan Reddy to resolve the sand crisis.

If government fails to come up with an immediate solution, the party Leadership and activists would take start protests across the State till the issue resolves, said Kalyan.  

Pawan Klayan said the recent suicides of construction workers have shaken up his conscience.

He also ensured that he’ll make the Government of Andhra Pradesh understand the pain and anguish of the construction workers who have been suffering from a lopsided sand-policy.

Following Pawan Kalyan’s deadline to the government, the Cabinet Ministers attacked him saying he was false allegations against government.

Interestingly, the government has now come up the solution.

Pawan Kalyan now says the fight on sand Corruption has just started

Referring to government’s ad, Pawan Kalyan on his Twitter page wrote, “JSP (JanaSena Party) wholeheartedly thanks all the media ,Individuals and other Political stakeholders for making YCP leader ‘Sri Jagan Reddy’ to realise his deliberate mistakes in sand policy which killed 50 workers & making 35 lakh construction workers jobless,” Pawan Kalyan wrote his Twitter page.

Pawan Kalyan on 18th November has also requested all the Janasainiks to keep a watch on illicit sand mining in State of Andhra Pradesh.

 “I urge all Janasainiks to keep a watch on illicit sand mining as the fight on sand corruption has just started,” he said.
