The other day we informed great news for the lovers of Cricket, especially India-Pak series lovers that Indian Government has agreed to organize bilateral series between the two archrivals.
However, there was a doubt expressed as whether Pakistan govt. will accept to the condition of India to hold the series in India.
As we feared, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Shaharyar Khan has confirmed that Pakistan team will not play the much awaited bilateral series in India as requested by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
PCB chief asserted that the series would only be possible if BCCI agree to play in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). He added that UAE has become their home venue ever since the 2009 terrorist attacks on the Sri Lankan cricket team.
On the other hand, BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur earlier said that the Indian government would not permit them to play Pakistan in the UAE.
With the two Governments singing contrasting Songs, the bilateral series to be played in December is in doldrums now.
