Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP supreme Nara Chandrababu Naidu might be one of the senior most and highly praised politician around, but his recent grounded act of touching the feet of an old woman, surprised everyone.
This emotional incident took place when Chandrababu Naidu was in Tenali of Guntur district to participate in the ‘Janma Bhumi – Maa Ooru’ program. Much to the surprise of leaders on the stage, an old woman named Drakshayani met the chief minister and offered him a donation of Rs 2 lakhs for Amaravati city construction.
The old lady, a resident of Tenali, said that she was moved by Chandrababu’s commitment to build a world-class capital city for Andhra Pradesh. Naidu was completely bowled over by her comments and couldn’t stop himself from touching her feet as token of gratitude.
Although the old lady refused to reveal her name and have photographs, Chandrababu requested her to have a photo with him so that her act could inspire many others to lend their helping hand for the city of people, Amaravati.
