PM Modi Visits Cyclone-Hit Vizag, Announces Rs 1000 Cr Relief for AP

PM Narendra Modi today visited cyclone-hit Visakhapatnam and affirmed Rs 1000 crore relief for the Andhra Pradesh as he attempted an overview of the most effected areas in the city.

Modi additionally announced Rs 2 lakh for the family of those killed and Rs 50,000 for those harmed in the disaster created by violent wind Hudhud.

Modi told “restoring the essential needs of life like water and power were the legislature’s prompt needs, government authorities from different services would soon visit the regions to assess damage and begin work to restore regularity.”
