PM Modi on Thursday morning went to forward posts in the Siachen Glacier-Saltoro Ridge area, in front of his planned visit to be with flood-hit people of Jammu & Kashmir on Diwali.
Modi says in his tweet, it’s my good fortune that I will have the capacity to invest time with our brave soldiers on this special day.
Modi also mentioned, be it the altitude or bitter cold, nothing stops our officers. They remained there, serving our country. They make us truly proud.
