Modi’s Next Stops Britain and Turkey

 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has been on a whirlwind world tour ever since NDA formed government at the Centre, will next visit Britain and Turkey from November 12.

Via his Facebook account, Modi revealed this information and said that his visit to Britain is aimed at strengthening bilateral ties with a traditional friend, a major economic partner and also one of the leading economic players of the world.

India and UK are two vibrant democracies, which are proud of their diversity and multicultural societies. It is known for its innovative zeal and for its creative industries. You would be interested to know that UK has the largest diplomatic presence in India and is the 3rd largest source of foreign Investment in our country,” he said.

“I am confident my UK visit will deepen our ties and we will cooperate extensively in a range of areas of Shared interests,” said Modi adding that bilateral cooperation in Defense Sector must improve.

On his Turkey visit, Modi said that the G20 summit to be held in Turkey is being held just before the Climate Change discussion at COP-21 summit in Paris.

Modi added, “During the summit, we will review the progress on decisions taken at the Brisbane summit and take up issues of climate change, terrorism, refugees, weak growth in global Economy, strategies for growth and employment, investment strategies, trade, energy and financial Sector resilience.”
