It is heard that Kabali is inspired from Hollywood blockbuster film “Taken” , which already spawned two sequels. In that film, a retired intelligence officer goes on a hunt for the kidnappers of his daughter in Paris.
Coming to Kabali, it is heard that Rajnikanth plays the role of a retired don, who returns to mafia when his daughter gets kidnapped in Malaysia. The film is expected to be a racy thriller with ample action sequences.
Radhika Apte is playing a pivotal role in the film directed by Ranjith.
