After the debacle of “Akhil”, Akhil Akkineni has taken a long time to finalize the story and director of his second Film.
‘Oopiri’ director Vamsi Paidipally has been entrusted with the responsibility of re-launching Akhil. Nagarjuna was highly impressed with Vamsi while making ‘Oopiri’bso he was given the chance. Vamsi is currently working on the story to take this project with Akhil on to floors.
It is heard that makers are considering ‘Laila O Laila’ title for this film. Well, it is known that ‘Laila O Laila’ is name of the iconic Song from Ram Charan’s commercial blockbuster ‘Nayak’. Ram Charan’s mindblowing steps on the dance floor and the terrific tune of SS Thaman made that song a memorable one for Movie lovers.
Being a good friend of Ram Charan, Akhil has no qualms in using his friend cum professional rival’s song as his film’s title. As the film is a romantic entertainer, makers felt ‘Laila O Laila’ will be an apt title.
