Mega power star co-owned airlines, TruJet has achieved a big feat just months after its launch. It is ranked second Best in the country in terms of occupancy of the flights in August month.
Indian Airlines has registered a growth of 18.66 % in the total number of passengers in August 2015 against the same month last year. As many as 6.8 million passengers flew in August, 2015.
IndiGo airline is leading the Market with 35.3 % of total passengers. Jet Airways and JetLite together hold 22.8 % of market Share. With 16.6 % share, Air India is ranked 3rd. SpiceJet (12.3 %), GoAir (8.1 %), AirAsia India (2 %), Vistara (1.5 %) etc follows.
In terms of occupancy of the flights, SpiceJet is leading the pack with 92.1 % in the month of August followed by TruJet with 83.7 %. Jet Airways stood at 80.8 %, Air India stood at 79.3 % and JetLite at 78.7 %.
Even though IndiGo holds majority market share, coming to occupancy, it just managed 76.8 %, way below than the above mentioned.
