We have recently reported that producers NV Prasad and DVV Danayya have bought the Telugu remake rights of super hit Tamil action thriller ‘Thani Oruvan’, for a whopping price of Rs 5.5 Crore. Mega power star Ram Charan is set to play the lead role in this Film.
The Tami film has Jayam Ravi and Nayanatara in lead roles with Aravind Swamy playing the negative role. The film has huge scope for Aravind Swamy’s role and the veteran actor garnered many brownie points for his performance as the villain.
Ever since the remake rights are bought, the discussion has been going on about who will play the negative role in the Telugu Remake. As per sources, the makers are considering Rana Daggubati to do the important role.
Since Rana’s negative act as Bhalladeva in ‘Baahubali’ impressed and Rana being a good friend of Charan, makers hope that Rana will accept the offer. The actor is yet to give his nod though.
