The Congress Rajya Sabha member and Former Union Minister Chiranjeevi on Thursday termed the move to issue eviction notice to him for clearing his authority home in Delhi as “unfair”, saying he was prepared to move out yet the option house offered to him was not yet in a tenable condition.
Chiranjeevi said he was recently allotted residence at 5-Tughlaq Road, however when he went there he was told that it would take one or two months to finish the repairs.
“There is no power and other facilties at 5 Tughlaq Road. It’s in a frail condition. How would I be able to go there now?” Chiranjeevi said.
” It’s unfair. It’s negligence of the Urban Development Ministry. If they force me to leave, I am helpless,” he added.
