YRSCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who was supposed to start Indefinite Fast from 15th September demanding special status to AP, has postponed the date to 26th of this month.
While it is already confirmed that Centre will not give special status to AP why Jagan is setting stage for this fast. Well, here is the real reason.
Apart from politicians of AP, even the people now know that Union government is not at all interested to give special status to AP. During the time of AP division, Congress Party introduced special status to AP in Rajya Sabha to get the notice of AP people. Then, BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu was hell bent on allotting special status to AP for 10 years.
Both Venkaiah Naidu and the Congress party know then that AP doesn’t have the qualification to be allotted special status but they played the political game to win the hearts of AP people and ultimately it was Venkaiah Naidu who became a hero.
Congress has already seen the wrath of AP people in 2014 elections. Venkaiah naidu has now become a villain in the eyes of people. Chandrababu is also facing embarrassing situation to face people as he failed to bring special status.
Jagan’s main intention is to bring all this drama in front of public so that he can gain politically. His intention is not special status but the defamation of BJP and TDP.
