Hot anchors like Anasuya, Reshmi, Syamala etc are ruling the small screen with incessant game shows and variety of programs. As per latest reports, the remuneration of these hotties has touched all time high.
A TV producer cried foul that anchors are charging more than what producers get at the end, after all expenses. Per episode, they are getting around Rs 30,000. On an average, an anchor can finish 3-4 shows per day. Hence, they are pocketing nothing less than Rs 1 lakh per day, with minimal hardwork.
Moreover, the anchors are not limiting to just one channel but they are covering other channels too as freelancers. TV producers allege that production costs have touched all time high just because of the remunerations of anchors. Eve male anchors are charging huge. If one has good popularity on small screen, he is a king or queen these days, said a producer.
On the other hand, other technicians of TV shows allege that they are being paid very less compared to anchors.
