Sensational director Shankar has finally finalized the villain for his upcoming visual extravaganza ‘Robot 2.0’. Bollywood star Akshay Kumar has been roped in to play the villain of Superstar Rajinikanth.
Shankar had initially tried to rope in Hollywood legend Arnold Schwarzenegger to play the villain in Robot 2.0 opposite Rajnikanth but when he couldn’t allot bulk dates, he tried to get Hritik Roshan on bard. When that plan too didn’t work, Shankar finally knocked the doors of Akshay and signed him. Akshay will be making his Tamil debut with this Film.
With Akhsay coming on board, the profile of the film in North India has raised. Amy Jackson has been roped in to play a robot in the film. Produced by Lyca Productions on a mammoth Budget of over RS 250 Crore, this film is expected to beat Baahubali Box Office collections. Srinivas Mohan, who has garnered accolades for the visual effects of Baahubali, will work for this much expected sequel now.
