Mega power star Ram Charan has finally put an end to the umpteen discussions about Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 150th Film by announcing that VV Vinayak will direct the remake of Tamil blockbuster ‘Kaththi’ starring Vijay and directed by AR Murugadoss.
It is well known that Ram Charan will produce the film under his newly floated Konidela Productions banner. Well, here comes the biggest twist. Lyca Productions, the makers of sensational director Shankar and Superstar Rajinikanth’s mega Budget ‘Robot 2.0’, will be co-producing Chiru’s remake along with Ram Charan. Lyca Productions, which produced the Tamil Kaththi, put condition that they must serve as co-producers of the Telugu remake or they won’t give the rights.
With no other option left, Chiru and Charan have agreed. The film is expected to be launched on Sankranthi, 2016. Meanwhile, the script work is going on at jet speed. VV Vinayak is heard to be making sure the film has authentic Telugu nativity. Nayanatara is heard to be romancing Chiru in this film with Vivek Oberoi getting on board to play the villain.
