‘Sardaar’ Effect: Distributors Back out of ‘Sarrainodu’

The disastrous result of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ is showing its effect on Allu Arjun’s upcoming action entertainer ‘Sarrainodu’, which is all set to hit screens on 22nd April, tomorrow.

There was huge buzz for the Film in the trade circles earlier but the buzz is no more encouraging. The re-shoot for this Allu Arjun starrer has only made the matters worse. Distributors, who were already cautious after ‘Sardaar’ bombed, have understood after the re-shoot that makers were not confident of the film.

As per latest update, distributors of Nizam, Krishna and Godavari districts have backed out at the last minute forcing Allu Arvind to release the film on his own. Moreover, the distributors of other areas are now bargaining to reduce the already accepted prices.

In addition, the re-censor has delayed the dispatch of Drives to US & Rest of World so premiers have cancelled in several locations causing huge losses to the distributors. The situation is not encouraging in the Telugu states too as permission was denied to conduct benefit shows in Hyderabad.
