There have been numerous stories about the unavoidable breakup of TDP-BJP alliance in both the Telugu states.
Rebel star of Telugu cinema turned BJP leader Krishnam Raju has confirmed these rumors now. He stated that the TDP is preventing the independent growth of BJP in AP. He added that TDP leaders passing off all the help for the Andhra Pradesh state from Union government as their own hard work and despite the alliance, the TDP leaders are harassing BJP workers.
Speaking at a meeting in Bhimavaram, Krishnam Raju also announced that there would be a massive meeting in Rajamahendravaram on 6th of March to be addressed by BJP national President Amit Shah.
The cracks between the ruling TDP and the BJP in AP began after a bid to end the alliance in Telangana. BJP sees the TDP as a hindrance for progressing in Telangana owing to the latter party being treated as an Andhra party by regional people.
