Former WWE Wrestler and the World Heavyweight Champion 2007, Dalip Singh Rana, who popular as ‘The Great Khali’, has suffered a serious head injury during a match.
Khali was badly injured during the first match of ‘The Great Khali Returns Series’ held by the Continental Wrestling Entertainment in Uttarkhand. The incident happened on the night of Thursday when Khali clashed with three foreign wrestlers.
Soon after he sustained the injury and started bleeding, Khali was airlifted to a private hospital in Dehradun where he was treated in the ICU. Even after several medical tests have been carried out, doctors suspect Khali might have sustained an internal chest injury.
He sustained 7 stitches on his head and the wrestler was kept under observation for now.
