Young hero Naga Chaitanya will act in the lead role in the Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster Film ‘Premam’. Currently, the makers are in the process of selecting the cast as the film will go on floors in November month.
The film has scope for three actresses. Amyra Dastur of ‘Anekudu’ fame and Anupama Parameswaran, who played one of the lead actresses in original ‘Premam’ have already been roped in.
Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra was approached to play the main lead actress. As per sources, although, she earlier showed interest, Parineeti has now backed out from the project and Shruthi Haasan has come into picture to play the lead actress role.
Although, Shruthi hasn’t given the nod yet, she expressed her willingness to do the role if she can adjust her dates. Directed by Chandu Mondeti of “Karthikeya” fame, this film will be produced by Radha krishna of ‘Julayi’ and ‘S/o Satyamurthy’ fame.
