On 10th November, Shruti Haasan’s latest Tamil Film, Ajith starrer ‘Vedalam’ released to positive reviews and exceptional numbers at Box Office. Fans and critics, who have watched the film, have showered praises for Ajith’s performance, direction and stylish action episodes.
Unfortunately, no one is talking about Shruti’s character in the flick. Apparently, Shruti Haasan played an insignificant role in the film as her screen presence was limited to just few scenes and Songs.
Another Tamil actress Lakshmi Menon stole the show with her meaty role as Ajith’s sister in the film, which is primarily laced with sister sentiment.
Interestingly, Shruti walked out of Tamil-Telugu bilingual starring Nagarjuna and Karthi to play an insignificant role in Vedalam. However, the role in Vedalam might not add any boost to her career except adding another hit to her name.
Many film lovers and her fans question, how could she walk out ‘Oopiri’ and have court battle with PVP for such insignificant role in ‘Vedalam’? If at all she had a meaty role, it would have been justifiable.
