Slovakian Legend rests at 76

Former striker Jozef Adamec, a Slovak Football forward player breathes his last on 24th December 2018 in a hospital in Tranava.

Born on 26th February 1942, he was a part of Czechoslovakia team when he was just 18-year-old. Popularly known for his hat-trick scored against Brazil. He has scored over 14 goals in 44 international matches. He was not only a part of Spartak Trnava but later became a coach in the same for a few years.

He had his record of winning seven championships in Czechoslovakia, five with Spartak Trnava with whom he reached European Cup semi-finals in 1969 and two with Dukla Prague.
