It seems that Tamil star hero Suriya has taken a different step to help the victims of Chennai floods by adopting villages.
In the badly affected Thiruvallur district, three villages: Nelvar, Kachur and Keragambakkam are said to be totally submerged. People living in these villages have lost their identity cards as well as there is no way for them to even get official help from authorities. Hence, Surya has adopted the three villages and requested others to donate for his Agaram foundation so that he can supply the necessities to those people.
In the wake of Tamil Nadu floods, total Chennai submerged in floods and many Film celebs came forward with hefty donations to help up relief works.
On film front, Surya will next be seen in a science fiction thriller ‘24’, a Movie based on time Travel concept. Directed by Manam director Vikram Kumar, the film has Samantha as leading lady.
