As per sources, the suicides of Farmers in Telangana, have brought a new lease of life to TDP, which has been down ever since the ‘Cash for vote’ Scam vandalized the reputation of the party.
Yesterday, the Telangana TDP leaders had a closed-door meet at the party Headquarters and they have decided to take on the TRS government over farmers’ suicides.
As part of this agitation, the TDP leaders would meet the Union agriculture Minister on 14th September and let him know of the farmers’ problems in Telangana. TDP cadre would also meet the Human Rights Commission on 16th September along with the families of the farmers, who have committed suicides.
Senior leaders of TDP like Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Revanth Reddy, Peddi Reddy etc have been accusing Telangana Government for neglecting the plight of farmers leading to their suicides. Revanth Reddy alleged that Chief Minister KCR promised to turn Telangana into a golden state but he made it as suicides’ state.
