A teen in Uttar Pradesh was sent to judicial custody for 14 days for trying to take a selfie with the district magistrate.
Farad Ahmad was booked for “getting too close” to the district magistrate B Chandrakala. As per reports, Farad tried to take a selfie when the DM was addressing a gathering about some local issues. Despite repeated warnings, Farad continued to get close to the DM for a selfie.
Chandrakala said that the boy continued to click pictures even after being warned that he should take prior permission before taking the snaps. She added that the boy should have behaved responsibly knowing that the she was a woman and a government official.
