Special Category Status of AP has become a headache for the ruling party of AP while the opposition party is trying to use it as a weapon to defame the ruling party.
Although, the Union government has made it clear on number of occasions that the special status will not be given to AP but almost equal special package will be given, YSRCP is still trying to gain politically by involving students in the so called movement.
Now, Telangana senior Congress MP Gutta Sukhendar Reddy has revealed that he has confirmation from Union Ministers that AP will not be given special status since the newly formed state doesn’t have all the qualifications to get it.
Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is also not making it clear that AP will not get special status, instead he is making confusing and complex statements like AP will get Special Package. It is the time for him to make an official announcement.
