We have already witnessed the nuisance created by the students of Osmania University, Hydearabad, Telangana in the name of the beef festival, on 10th December.
Now, Dalit student groups of Acharya Nagarjuna University (ANU), Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, have also decided to organize the similar Beef Festival in their campus to express their support to Osmania University students. ANU unit of The National Dalit Students’ Federation (NDSF) revealed their plan to conduct the fest in December itself.
Osmania University is care of address for controversies, cast wars and student politics. Although police and the University authorities prohibited the students, they went on to organize the beef festival, just to make a mockery of the faith of Hindu students. If these gentlemen really want to consume beef, they can do so in their respective homes but they created a ruckus in the campus just to humiliate and anger rival groups.
On the other hand, Andhra has always been free of these kinds of controversies. However, it seems that the disease of Telangana students has now spread to Andhra.
