The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) has called for Telangana bandh tomorrow to protest against the suspension of 28 Opposition members from TS Assembly, for questioning about Farmers’ suicides.
Addressing the media, TTDP President L Ramana has alleged that TRS government has completely failed to help the families of the farmers who had committed suicides. He announced that TDP would burn effigies of the TRS leaders across the state to protest against heinous suspension act.
TTDP Working President Revanth Reddy, speaking to media at Assembly media point, has accused that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and minister T Harish Rao are stifling the voice of opposition parties in Assembly.
He alleged that TRS government has conspired to evade debate on farmers’ suicides. The government is behaving in an autocratic manner by proving that they can even suspend the people elected representatives if the issues of public are questioned in the Assembly.
Barring Congress Floor Leader Jana Reddy, MIM members and TDP MLA R Krishnaiah, all the Opposition members are suspended for the entire session.
